About Us

We were established in 2006 as a Sole proprietary company, the owner is Khalifa Shaheen whose credentials reach back to Bapco in the 1960’s. He is widely regarded as one of the Gulf’s pioneers in Film and still photography and has numerous awards and accolades as a testament to his creativity and love for the medium.

Khalifa is ably assisted by his son Nader and daughter Tanya on a day to day basis with valuable contribution being made by the daughter Nadia and son Omar periodically. He is a grand father of nine and expects that number to rise. No pressure then Omar!

Before KSDi, Khalifa was owner of the now dissolved, Falcon Cinefoto. Through Falcon a number of nationally important projects were realized, including; pictures of an Island, Dark Tide, People on the horizon and many more. Proud of his country, Khalifa continues to produce quality for a world hungry for information about the Gulf.
